OCALA, FL (352today.com) – UPDATE, 6/18/2024: The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) says the missing Ocala woman with autism has been found and is safe.
MCSO updated its Facebook post and thanked the community for sharing the post.
ORIGINAL, 6/17/2024: The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) wants you to be on the lookout for a missing woman in Ocala.
In a Facebook post, MCSO identified 25-year-old Alisha Rimas as the missing person.
According to deputies, Alisha has been diagnosed with autism and has the mental capacity of a 9-year-old.
MCSO says Alisha left her home in the 8900 block of SW 34th Court around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 16.
The sheriff’s office says Alisha has her gray/black mixed terrier dog with her.
Deputies say she may be wearing blue jean shorts and tennis shoes.
If anyone has any information on her whereabouts, you’re urged to call 911.
