Marion County plans temporary lane closures in various areas

MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Commuters can expect delays and may have to find alternate routes for a 63-day period beginning Sept. 16 and lasting through Nov. 18.

There will be a number of temporary road closures at different locations throughout the county.

  • South Magnolia Ave., from SE Hwy. 42 to SE 160th St.
  • SE 160th St., from South Magnolia Ave. to S. Hwy. 475
  • NE 112th Ave., from NE Hwy. 314 to NE 49th St.
  • NE 49th St., from NE 112th Ave. to NE 115th Ct.
  • NE 115th Ct., from NE 49th St. to NE 52nd Place Rd.
  • NE 52nd Place Rd., From NE 115th Ct. to NE Hwy. 314

Commuters should expect delays, and when possible, they should seek to use alternate routes. During the temporary road closures, Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc., will making roadway pavement repairs, and there will be workers and road equipment located in the county right-of-way.

There will be barricades and signage in place to direct traffic through the work zones. It’s possible that the schedule may be affected by adverse weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances.
