MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Marion County deputies made multiple arrests Wednesday in a series of separate incidents involving impaired driving, drug possession and an out-of-state warrant for serious felony charges.

Deputy Davila responded to a residence in the 4200 block of SE 150th Street after the homeowner reported that an unknown man was passed out in a vehicle on the property. Upon arrival, deputies located the man, identified as Tristan Macedo, who was unresponsive for several attempts before waking. Authorities reported that Macedo showed signs of impairment. He refused to perform field sobriety exercises and was arrested. At the Marion County Jail, he also refused to provide a breath sample.

In another incident, Corporal Calvin Pope conducted a traffic stop near SE 110th Street and U.S. Highway 441 for failure to maintain a lane. The driver, identified as Adrienne Wade, was determined to be impaired following a DUI investigation. Wade was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail, where she refused to provide a breath sample.

Deputies also arrested Jessica Rhoades after observing suspicious behavior. Upon approach, Rhoades was seen concealing an item in her pants. When questioned, she admitted to possessing “a little bit of meth”. She produced methamphetamine, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia from her clothing, which were turned over to deputies. Rhoades was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail.

Deputy Hammons conducted a traffic stop in the 18700 block of SE 93rd Place due to an obscured license plate. The driver, identified as Gabriel Bariteau, was found to be in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia after deputies detected the smell of burnt marijuana and conducted a search. The items recovered included alprazolam and hydromorphone. Bariteau was arrested and taken to jail.

In a separate case, Corporal John Bloom responded to the 2900 block of SE 50th Court for a well-being check. While at the scene, Bloom made contact with Edward Morris, who was not connected to the original call. A records check revealed Morris had an active warrant out of Louisiana for violation of probation related to armed robbery and attempted murder charges. Morris was arrested and booked into the Marion County Jail, where he is being held pending extradition to Louisiana.
