The Leesburg Arts Center (LAC) is hosting an inaugural exhibition reception for release of their new members exhibit on Friday, April 17 from 5:30-7 p.m. The exhibit will be featured at their new location at the historic Tropic Theatre at 122 W. Main St, Downtown Leesburg, showcasing a theme of “People, Places & Things.”

The exhibit will feature a selection from the Arts Center’s Artist Membership, providing a look at local artistry across multiple media. Following the reception on April 17, the exhibit will be open until July 11 with hours on Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 12-4 p.m.

This exhibit will be followed up by the Summer Camp Exhibit starting on July 17 in the main gallery. Also on the schedule is “The Great Tropic Art Heist,” a pair of interactive fundraising evenings where everyone’s a suspect… except for the murderer. Sip, savor hors d’oeuvres and solve the case while enjoying local art on Friday or Saturday, May 29 or 30.
