Game On! 2025 Building Products Expo brings top industry leaders to Disney’s Coronado Springs

ORLANDO, FL (352today.com) – Get ready to network in a fun and relaxed environment, engage with industry leaders, and explore the latest in building technology and products.

The Florida Builders and Materials Association’s (FBMA) Game On! 2025 Building Products Expo will be held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort from Aug. 20–22. The event offers attendees a dynamic mix of business and fun, with access to more than 100 exhibitors, keynote presentations, career development opportunities, and the latest in building technology.

Cutting-Edge Products and Innovation

The expo floor will feature up to 100 vendors showcasing cutting-edge tools, products, and technologies, including everything from advanced fastening systems to a state-of-the-art sidewinding forklift manufactured in Germany. It’s a must-see for anyone looking to stay ahead in the building industry, said Kristina Berano of the Florida Builders and Materials Association (FBMA).

Business Meets Fun

Networking is a major focus, beginning with the FBMA’s largest golf tournament of the year at Disney’s Magnolia and Palm Golf Courses on Aug. 20. Attendees can also connect during two evening receptions or in quiet spaces set aside for on-site interviews and business conversations.

Students exploring careers in construction will also find support and information on available opportunities and resources.

Speaker Lineup: Insight and Inspiration

Thursday’s speakers include Terry and Lee Resnick, Rob McCaffery, Hope Landeree, Zach Dewitt, Mike McDole, and Jeffrey Tweten. That same day, RoMac Building Materials will sponsor a panel moderated by CEO Don Magruder, featuring Shyam Reddy (BlueLinx Corp.), Danny Bachman (Dixie Plywood), Jim Kerkvilet (Parliament Building Products), and Deanna Jenkins (President, Thomas Lumber).

Emmitt Smith Headlines Friday Breakfast

Friday morning’s keynote, from 8:30 to 10 a.m., features Pro Football Hall of Famer and NFL all-time leading rusher Emmitt Smith. In his talk Game On Championship Vision, Smith will share leadership insights and his winning mindset from the field and the boardroom.

A meet and greet with Smith will follow, offering attendees the chance to snap a photo with the NFL legend.

Women in Construction Take the Spotlight

Friday’s programming will also highlight women in the building industry. Andrea Mesis-Bruno, President of D&A Construction Advisors and host of the Mothers in Construction podcast, will moderate a powerful panel featuring:

  • Ann McNeil, MCO Construction and Services
  • Alison L. Mullins, Rep Methods LLC
  • Yvette Patterson, Builders FirstSource
  • Stephanie Rees, APA – The Engineered Wood Association

“The speaker stage will have its own list of daily speakers,” said Berano. “They will cover everything from proven safety techniques to AI on job sites.” Friday also includes talks from Elton Mayfield, Greg Renfroe, and Doug Winston.

Student Opportunities and Career Hub

A Student Center and Career Hub will feature representatives from Florida Atlantic University, University of North Florida, and Future Builders of America. Winston will also speak to students and parents on Friday from 12:30–1:30 p.m. Free student passes are available by emailing Kelli@FBMA.org.

The expo floor opens Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Floor passes are $25 and can be picked up at the Veracruz North Registration Desk. The event is not open to the general public.
