GAINESVILLE, FL (352today.com) – The Cotton Club Museum and Cultural Center will have a Holiday Open House on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in honor of all our donors and supporters who make the Cotton Club Museum possible. Please join us for a night of festivities, meet our Board of Directors, hear plans for the new year, poetry, holiday music and refreshments. Come and share your ideas for making 2026 at the Museum even better and more exciting! This event is free, and everyone is welcome but please register here.

The paintings and poetry of the local artist Ernest Lee (1962-2021) are still on exhibit as well as ongoing exhibits of the works of the late Patricia Hilliard Nunn and “In the Shadows of Plantations: Enslaved Africans in Alachua County.”

The Cotton Club Museum and Cultural Center is an organization dedicated to enriching the experiences of all who wish to grow in knowledge and appreciation of the history and culture of African-derived cultures, highlighting those in Gainesville and North Central Florida. The museum is located at 837 SE 7th Ave. in Gainesville. The Museum is open Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
