OCALA, Fla. (352today.com) – The Discovery Center will open the new traveling exhibit Alma’s Way: Welcome to My Neighborhood! on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Based on the hit PBS KIDS® animated series Alma’s Way, the immersive exhibit brings the life of six-year-old Alma Rivera to Ocala. Guests can step into Alma’s world by exploring her family duplex, shopping at a neighborhood bodega, visiting a pet clinic, and even taking a subway ride on the iconic six train.

The exhibit was developed by The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum, in collaboration with Fred Rogers Productions. Since its television debut in 2021, Alma’s Way has received national acclaim, winning three Imagen Awards and earning nominations for two Emmy® Awards and the NAACP Image Award.

Alma’s Way: Welcome to My Neighborhood! will be on display through Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at the Discovery Center, 701 NE Sanchez Ave. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
