Cold Weather Shelters Activating Monday in Alachua, Lake, Marion Counties (UPDATING)

NORTH CENTRAL FL (352today.com) – While the National Weather Service’s freeze warning just barely extends south into our area, multiple counties in the 352 are activating cold-weather shelters as the region prepares for temperatures do drop to near freezing overnight on Monday, Nov. 10 and Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025.

Here’s a list of the shelters confirmed to be opening today. Most open in the late afternoon or early evening; be sure to call for capacity and more information. We will be updating the list as more information becomes available.
