CareerSource CLM hosts “Paychecks for Patriots” job fairs for veterans

CITRUS COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion (CLM) will hold two “Paychecks for Patriots” job fairs in November.

This is part of a statewide effort to help Florida veterans find jobs. The first fair will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Realtors Association of Citrus County in Lecanto. Many veteran-friendly companies will be there, such as FedEx, the City of Ocala, Chick-fil-A, and the Florida Department of Corrections.

Henry Ayala, a retired US Army veteran and a local employment representative for CareerSource CLM, mentioned that Paychecks for Patriots showcases local employers who have immediate job openings and appreciate the skills and experience gained from military service.

“Our veterans, service men and women, and their military families bring a special set of skills to our workforce as well as incredible dedication,” Ayala says. “CareerSource CLM is certainly honored to serve those who have proudly served and sacrificed for our country.”
