OCKLAWAHA, FL (352Today.com) – Marion County deputies are searching for 49-year-old Leroy Parks III, wanted in connection with a shooting and two vehicle thefts early Thursday morning in Ocklawaha.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Parks left a home on SE 192nd Court around 5:45 a.m. after a shooting. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say Parks then stole two vehicles. He is believed to be driving a stolen white 2016 Nissan Titan with Florida license plate 31DVBK and may still be armed with a firearm.
Deputies consider him armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees Parks or the vehicle should call 911 immediately and not approach him.
