BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – Belleview is growing, and with that growth comes a greater need for youth opportunities. That’s why Belleview United, a new youth soccer club, is launching to support the development of local athletes through structured training, teamwork, and fun—all rooted in strong community values.
A club inspired by perseverance and growth
Founded by Luis Morales and Sandy Matolo, Belleview United was born out of their shared experience as parents supporting their youth team through four exciting seasons. Their final season was especially memorable, as the team climbed from the bottom bracket to win their division—a testament to perseverance, teamwork, and player development.
“We saw how a supportive environment and steady growth can lead to great outcomes,” said Matolo. “There’s room for more programs like this in Belleview, and we’re excited to contribute to that vision.”
A complement to existing clubs
Belleview United is not designed to compete with existing soccer programs. Instead, it offers an additional option for families by complementing the great work already being done in the area. The goal is to provide more pathways for youth to stay active, develop skills, and build lasting community connections.
Home field at Grace Baptist Church
Belleview United will play on the field behind Grace Baptist Church, located at 10835 SE 70th Ave, Belleview, FL 34420.
“We’re truly grateful for the opportunity,” said Morales. “We hope to make Grace Baptist and the Belleview community proud.”
Mission rooted in values and inclusivity
Belleview United’s mission centers around individual player development, building confidence, and creating a welcoming space for athletes of all skill levels. The club promotes family participation, volunteerism, and a community-first spirit.
