According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, a Marion County school bus was traveling eastbound on SR 40 at around 2:50 p.m. when, after stopping at the intersection, it began to turn left onto SE 177th Ave., and into the path of an oncoming pickup truck, causing a collision.
