Williston Fiesta will be held on Saturday, September 24 at Heritage Park (Northwest 1st Avenue, Williston, Fl 32696) in Downtown Williston, from 11am to 5pm.

The tasty cuisine of Latin America will be the centerpiece as the City of Williston and Friends of Brandon Peters will host the first event in the area celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

This year’s event will feature authentic dishes from countries such as Peru, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, Columbia, and many more.

In addition to the delicious food available, Williston Fiesta will feature arts and crafts vendors and Latin/Hispanic music and dance promoting the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic Americans in our country.

It all kicks off at 11:30am as Celines Santiago brings her endless energy, constant motivation, and unique teaching charisma to the Williston’s Hairitage Salon stage with a complimentary Zumba class. Celines has been a Zumba Fitness licensed instructor for 15 years, currently residing at Zone Health and Fitness in Ocala, and has become one of the most renowned instructors in Marion County; so, get there early to get your Zumba on and dance your troubles away.

Bringing the sounds from Spain, Mexico, The Caribbean, and Central and South America is none other than Ivan Garcia and his magical guitar; playing everything from folkloric Puerto Rican music, salsa and meringue to cumbia, bachata, bolero and more.

Williston Fiesta is presented by Lane’s Yardware, and sponsored in part by Capital City Bank, Levy Insurance Agency, Harriett Downs Real Estate, Williston Well and Pump, Country Boy Cutz, ANCORP, Williston Tire & Automotive, and JJ Fields. Admission and Parking is FREE.
