National Public Lands Day

Help us celebrate National Public Lands Day by volunteering to plant native wildflowers and perform trail maintenance.

Join us at Silver Springs State Park to celebrate National Public Lands Day on September 26th. NLPD is the largest single-day volunteer event dedicated to caring for public lands in the US. Participants will have an opportunity to plant native wildflowers or perform trail maintenance to help make the park a better place.

Volunteers should arrive at the Ranger Station a little before 9 AM to be directed to the registration and staging area.

Participants should bring gloves, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and water and be prepared to work outdoors for an extended period of time.
