The 2nd Annual East Gainesville Backyard BBQ was founded in 2022 to promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion on the Eastside of Gainesville. East Gainesville Backyard BBQ is a community event held in East Gainesville that promises to be fun, educative, and entertaining. The event is a public event opened to all. There will be several activities for children and adults to participate in, as well as various food truck vendors, businesses, entrepreneurs, and community organizations in a celebration of the diverse culture of Gainesville, Florida.
