The Marion Cultural Alliance, in partnership with the City of Ocala Municipal Government’s Ocala Cultural Arts, is excited to unveil the full lineup for the 2021 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series. The series is sponsored in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a national funder of creative placemaking that empowers communities to inject new life into underused public spaces. Through free, outdoor concerts, the Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series will present 10 free, family-friendly concerts to the public this summer.
The Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series will take place at Webb Field at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Complex located at 1510 NW Fourth St. Concerts will take place every Friday, April 16 through June 25 (excluding May 28), 7-9pm. The June 25 grand finale will feature an extended performance, 6-9pm, sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission. Admission is free, and the public is invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to the concerts. The lawn will be transformed into socially distanced seating circles for families to enjoy the concert in safety.
The 2021 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series will feature a diverse lineup of high-caliber talent spanning musical genres, such as blues, jazz, funk, soul, indie, bluegrass, zydeco and R&B.

Friday, June 4 – JP Soars’ Gypsy Blue Revue featuring Anne Harris supported by Pam Taylor
Friday, June 11 – Ruby Velle and the Soulphonics supported by Becky Sinn
Friday, June 18 – Love, DEAN! supported by Kristopher James
Friday, June 25 – Grand Finale starting at 6pm with Thomas McClary’s Commodore Experience supported by and Fareeza and surprise artist sponsored by the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission of Ocala/Marion County.
Each concert will also spotlight a local non-profit organization that will conduct a special activity or performance during the event’s intermission.
The 2021 Levitt AMP Music Series is sponsored by Levitt Foundation, Ocala Electric Utility, 98.5 KTK, AdventHealth Ocala, Downtown Billiards, Fun 4 Ocala Kids, Miller’s Ale House, TriEagle Sales and Kona Ice Ocala. The event will feature food trucks, as well as beer and wine, which will be available for purchase. Big Lee’s Serious About Barbecue will be available for the entire series as well as Kona Ice Ocala.
