What is the Bear-A-Thon?…

A daylong event hosted by 93.7 K-Country & Wind-FM, sharing stories & asking listeners to donate a Stop Children’s Cancer Bear or Chemo Duck to a child receiving cancer treatment at UF Health Children’s Hospital.

Where Does the Bear or Chemo Duck Go?

Bears and Chemo Ducks Give Hope to a Child Going Through Cancer Treatment. Every Child Being Treated for Cancer at UF Health Children’s Hospital Receives a Bear. The Chemo Duck is Given to a Child Receiving Chemotherapy.

What is a Chemo Duck?

Every Chemo Duck is Used as an Educational Tool. When a Child Receives a Port for Therapy, It Needs to Stay Clean. The Chemo Duck is Used to Show the Child How to Care for This Port.

How is Your Donation Used?

All Donations Enable Stop Children’s Cancer to Give a Child a Bear or a Chemo Duck & Continue Important Funding for Clinical Trials & Research.
