Italian Police Use a Lamborghini to Transport a Kidney 300 Miles in Two Hours

Earlier this month, a patient in Padua, Italy who desperately needed a new kidney had a match . . . from a hospital 300 miles away in Rome.

 

And the police had an answer.  They just so happen to have a Lamborghini Huracan they use specifically for rushing organs around the country . . . it’s even fitted with a special refrigerator in the trunk.

 

So they popped the kidney in the trunk and then drove it the 300 miles . . . in TWO HOURS. That drive takes about five hours under normal conditions. The Italian police tweeted out that, quote, “Thanks to our Lamborghini Huracan, [we] delivered a donor kidney for transplant to a person in time.”
