‘Drive-by’ has a whole new meaning now in 2020…
You can be in a July 4th parade! From 10am-12pm on the 4th, the public is invited to drive past Skip Cox’s house and wave, say hello or thank you and honk. Skip is a Vietnam veteran and a three-time Purple Heart recipient. His neighbor organized the event and is asking anyone and everyone to come through. Ocala Police said they’ll show up and say thanks!
It’s in the 4800 block of SE 35th. Drivers should turn off SE 52nd street and onto 35th.
