The Creative Arts Student Troupe of Ocala Civic Theatre’s Education Department will present Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” from June 26-28 on the newly renovated outdoor stage at Ocala Civic Theatre.
The student troupe will present this magical romantic comedy in a wonderfully imaginative outdoor setting–perfect for an enchanting tale of love spells and mistaken identity, wildly wooing couples, mischievous sprites and fairies in the forest on a moonlit night.
Performances will take place at 7pm on Friday, June 26, Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28. The play is 90 minutes long, with no intermission, and will be presented on the brand-new outdoor stage behind the theatre.
Reservations are required and will open Tuesday, June 9. There is limited seating in order to offer safely distanced seating between parties at all performances. Donations are gratefully accepted.
