Effective May 4, 2020, Governor DeSantis has begun to allow some businesses to open with limitations.  Click here for the list of those businesses. We ask that you continue to support local businesses as much as possible and as always call ahead to make sure they are indeed open when you want to go as business hours are always evolving.

A Message from Ali Martinez, Crisis Center Director, Alachua County:  At this time of uncertainty and social distancing, we need to maintain ways to feel supported and heard. We need trusted sources to help us dispel rumors and tell fact from fiction. We encourage people to reach out whenever they need someone to talk to: we will always answer the call. The Crisis Center Line (352-264-6789) and the 311 Critical Information Line are always available to help.

Alachua County is proud to support North Central Florida (NCF) Cares. NCF Cares is a community relief fund created by the Community Foundation of North Central Florida and the United Way of North Central Florida. The community relief fund is designed to strategically deploy resources to local organizations serving and supporting local residents in this time of crisis. This fund will assist with rent, utilities, food, mental health services, computers for at-home students, and more. Thanks to a $10,000 matching gift, contributions will be matched dollar for dollar up to $1,000.

For more information or make a donation, visit the NCF Cares website.
