According to people who live in a retirement community in Toms River, New Jersey, they’re being TERRORIZED by a group of 40 to 60 wild turkeys. They say the turkeys are blocking their doors, pecking their cars, and attacking and biting people who go outside. Some of them are even breaking people’s windows.
This is the time of year when turkeys can get aggressive, because it’s mating season. So this probably isn’t them fighting back over Thanksgiving.
But Animal Control in Toms River says they can’t help because they’re not licensed to trap wildlife. So, for now . . . the turkeys win.
An aggressive gaggle of 40 to 60 wild turkeys is terrorizing the community in the Holiday City section of town. https://t.co/Qo0N3OwU8R
