First-grader loses tooth at recess, principal writes to Tooth Fairy

A first grader at a school in Wisconsin was playing around at recess when he got hit, and accidentally knocked his tooth out. Sad part is … they couldn’t find the tooth on the ground.

The young boy was worried the Tooth Fairy wouldn’t show up because they had no tooth! No proof! Nothing to put under the pillow.

So, the principal at Gillett Elementary, Curt Angeli, decided to write a letter to the Tooth Fairy on the boy’s behalf.

He wrote, “Please accept this letter as official verification of a lost tooth, and provide the standard monetary exchange rate you would normally use.”

The kid showed up at school the next day and told Curt that the Tooth Fairy came . . . and left a WHOLE DOLLAR under his pillow.
