Florida psychic makes woman think she’s cursed, scams $1.6mil

 

Here’s what happens when a psychic gets TOO big of a whale on the hook.

 

There’s a 29-year-old woman named Sherry Uwanawich from Miami, Florida.  And back in 2007, when she was just 17 years old, she was working as a psychic and met a woman at a mall in Houston.

Sherry managed to convince the woman there was a CURSE on her and her family . . . and only Sherry could remove it.

 

And the woman wound up spending $1.6 MILLION over the course of seven years to have the curse removed.

Finally, in 2014, Sherry apparently had a crisis of conscience and admitted it was all a scam.  And the woman went to the cops.

Sherry was in court last week, and was sentenced to three years and four months in prison for wire fraud.  She also has to pay back the woman.
