8 y.o. using Santa chat app gets inappropriate message

When you start using Christmas stuff in July, there’s a chance the people who made it haven’t had time to iron out all the kinks.

A woman named Ashley Adams in Dallas, North Carolina says her eight-year-old daughter loves Christmas so much that she downloaded an app last week that lets kids chat with Santa.

And apparently, the app asked the girl, quote, “What are you wearing?”  Then when the dad sent a message on the app, it told him, quote, “You’re too old for me.”

The app supposedly uses bots to respond to kids’ texts, but the girl’s parents say it seems like it was an actual person on the other end of the chat.

They’ve filed a complaint with the local police.
