The third annual Ocala Food & Wine Festival presented by Lugano Diamonds returns for a full weekend of culinary celebration. Enjoy samples of extraordinary cuisine from local legends and celebrity chefs, as well as culinary competition, beer, wine and spirits education. Friday will feature the Barbecue, Bourbon & Blues event, Saturday includes the Taste of Ocala and Celebrity Chef Dinner, and Sunday’s highlight include a Champagne Jazz Brunch. Downtown Ocala has a new spot for grab-and-go pizza by the slice. SLICE! in downtown Ocala is a pizza by the slice fast-service window located on the historic square next to Cantina. The menu offers cheese, pepperoni and meat lovers options, as well as garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, cheese and pepperoni calzones, and Italian sausage. SLICE! Is closed on Monday, open 11am-10pm Tuesday-Thursday, 11am-2:30am Friday and Saturday, and 11am-9pm on Sunday. Check them out on Facebook to learn more.
