Sholom Park is buzzing about their upcoming Fun at the Park – Let’s Get Buggy 3 event on Sunday, October 24, from 1-4pm. Sholom Park is located at 7110 SW 80th Avenue in Ocala.
This family-friendly event includes live entertainment, interactive and educational booths, food trucks and a new garden show addition.
Learn all about beneficial insects on Buggy Boulevard with participating organizations and event sponsors. Visit educational and interactive exhibits like The Butterfly Encounter, Earthworm Experience, Bug Appétit, and the popular Ladybug Release where you help Sholom Park release more than 100,000 ladybugs into the park. Browse, buy, or learn gardening tips and tricks from local lawn and garden professionals and Marion County Master Gardeners at this year’s new Garden Show addition.
Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy the smooth soulful voice of Nashville singer-songwriter Aubrey Wollett on the Sholom Park stage. Aubrey adds a refreshing beach vibe to the country music genre with captivating sound and catchy lyrics.
Stop by participating local food trucks for Bug Bites and quench your thirst with a refreshing cup of Beetle Juice.
This event is free and open to the public. General and VIP parking fees for vehicles and golf carts will apply. VIP parking passes may be purchased in advance at sholompark.org.
