Three actors who played jewel thieves on “NCIS: New Orleans” are suing CBS, after real cops showed up while they were filming the robbery.

The scene was shot at a jewelry store in Louisiana in 2017, but what the actors didn’t know is that the show decided to film it “guerrilla-style” . . . without permits, and without alerting police or the people at surrounding businesses.

So when the three men pulled up to the shop in an unmarked van, got out wearing ski masks and carrying machine guns, and ran into the store yelling “This is a robbery!” . . . somebody in a shop next door called 911.

Cops rushed to the scene pointing REAL weapons at the actors . . . who say they could have been killed if they made one false move.  They claim they were traumatized by the incident, and they want CBS to pay damages.
