Chipotle masters have known a secret for years: You get more food in a burrito bowl than in a burrito. And if you still want to eat it as a burrito, you can just ask for a tortilla on the side and they’ll toss one in for free.
Well . . . not anymore. Chipotle has figured out the “tortilla on the side” scam and now they’re CHARGING for one.
They’re only charging 25 cents, so it’s not a lot . . . but really, it’s mostly a symbolic move that shows they KNOW what you’re up to and they could blow up your plan at any time.
