A Rich Guy Is Torturing His Rich Neighbor by Blasting the “Gilligan’s Island” Theme on Repeat

There’s a 76-year-old billionaire investor named Bill Gross who lives in Laguna Beach, California.  And he’s been in a battle with his next door neighbor . . . a 56-year-old very-rich-but-slightly-less-rich guy named Mark Towfiq who’s a tech entrepreneur.

Mark doesn’t like that Bill put up a 22-foot-long blue glass sculpture on his property last year and put up poles and netting up to protect it.  He says it’s blocking his view.  So he called the city to complain.

And Bill got revenge on him for the complaint by . . . blasting the “Gilligan’s Island” theme song at all hours.

And now, lawsuits, charges, and restraining orders have been filed.  There’s going to be a hearing on the restraining orders and harassment charges next week.  And Bill has until the middle of next month to try to get the right permits for his sculpture.

Until then, I guess Mark just has to sit right back and hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip.
