A group of scientists at the University of Nottingham in England say their new calculations show there are at least 36 intelligent alien civilizations right here in the Milky Way galaxy.
But . . . we don’t have the technology to reach any of them, because they’re an average of 17,000 light years away, so we can’t communicate with them. Yet.
There are at least 36 intelligent #alien civilizations in our galaxy, the Milky Way, scientists say, but they could be around 17,000 light years away.https://t.co/YZwIeMCeKJ

This is obviously based on strictly statistical calculation but…
Scientists calculate there should be at least 36 intelligent alien civilizations in our own Milky Way galaxy.
How cool is that?? Are you excited or terrified?https://t.co/jjctXSSeqd
