Man preemptively buys tampons for wife: Generous or Inappropriate?

A guy posted this story on Reddit over the weekend.  He says, quote, “I don’t track my wife’s period, but I’ve been with her long enough to get a sense of where it falls every month.”

He was recently getting some toilet paper out of the cabinet and noticed his wife was down to her last tampon.  And he knew her period was coming, so when he was at the store, he picked her up a new box.

And, quote, “When I got home and she saw them she got upset, and said it was weird that I did it on my own and kind of creepy.”

So . . . was it incredibly thoughtful, or was it creepy?
