How your bra can help save a turtle

That’s a very weird headline… even for Florida.

This is from a nonprofit animal rescue in North Carolina.

The Carolina Water Fowl Rescue gets a lot of turtles this time of year, especially when it rains. They are laying their eggs and moving around, many die from being hit by cars or boats.

The ones that are alive have shattered shells. So, this particular team has turned to using BRA CLASPS to help hold the shell together.

“You basically wire the shell back together”, says Keena Freitas from the rescue team.

It’s affordable and recyclable. And it’s saving a turtles life!
