Boy opens lemonade stand to take mom on a date

A 6 year old Colorado boy ran a lemonade stand to make money to take his mom on a date after his dad died of colon cancer.

Brady Campbell and his dad Brandon had planned on setting up a lemonade stand before he died, making signs and getting prepared.  But either it rained or his dad wasn’t feeling well.

The day after his dad died, Brady opened the lemonade stand and raised $244.

His mom said she hopes this story encourages everyone to get checked for colon cancer.
